Our team is looking forward to seeing our friends and colleagues at the upcoming ESCRS Congress and iNovation Day in Vienna this September. It’s a great way to return after the summer holidays, with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8
iNovation “Innovators Den”
During iNovation Day, the new “Innovators Den: Eyecare Pioneers” program is a shark-tank style session to celebrate and support entrepreneurs with unique ideas that address unmet needs in the ophthalmic field.
Candidates are paired with an experienced mentor (our own Kris Morrill is serving as one of the mentors!) to develop a pitch for the judges.
One winner will be selected in each of three categories (Sustainability; Devices/Techniques; and Pharmaceutical/Therapeutic Solutions), and will get to present their idea to iNovation Day attendees.

Master Class “The Fine Art of Juggling”
Ophthalmologists need a myriad of skills beyond their medical training to manage and grow their practice, yet most of these skills are learned on the job with no formal training: CEO, CFO, HR, Chief Marketer.
This interactive workshop with expert faculty will help attendees expand on the leadership and business skills needed to juggle all of these business roles with purpose, strategy, and grace.
This master class is led by Kristine Morrill, who has been consulting on the ESCRS Practice Management Program since it’s inception, with other leaders in the space including:
