Our staff has grown by four highly experienced and talented professionals this month. Medevise is pleased to welcome Veronique, Carolyn, Francesca and Elodie. We know they will add important insight and value to our clients and projects.
Veronique Pattyn has been appointed Chief Operating Officer.
A veteran international business leader and optometrist, Veronique brings a wealth of experience in the healthcare and medical device industries in Europe and will play an instrumental role in Medevise's growth strategy.
As Medevise’s new COO, Veronique will lead and scale the company’s growth and international business operations, and will report directly to Medevise’s President and Founder Kristine Morrill. Veronique will lead the company's operational team, driving client success strategy and execution for both Medevise Consulting and Medevise Launchpad, and oversee operational excellence across the company.
Veronique has held senior leadership roles at major healthcare organizations and led several start-up companies to introduce their innovative technologies into Europe. She played a key role in the acquisition of IntraLase Corp. to AMO, as well as Eyeonics to Bauch & Lomb. She is an optometrist and holds a business degree from HEC St. Louis, Brussels.

Carolyn McAuliffe has been named US Director, Marketing and Communications.
Based in Southern California, Carolyn’s professional experience encompasses 20 years in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. She has brought her passion for medical communications to companies in every stage of growth, from start-ups to large globally-recognized ophthalmic companies.
Francesca Sefton has been hired as Clinical & Communications Project Manager.
Francesca has a doctorate in optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. She has more than five years of direct patient clinical experience in pre- and post-operative management of refractive and cataract surgeries, specifically LASIK, PRK, SMILE, ICL, and RLE. Previously clinic director of one of the largest private practice refractive surgery centers in San Francisco, Francesca has a passion for ophthalmologic innovation and technology to provide alternative solutions for patients with visual disabilities.
Elodie Schaller is serving as HR Manager.
She has experience working in human resources for large international groups and in small local firms. Skilled in linking the operational to the strategic, Elodie is a true business partner, taking into consideration human and financial priorities. She also conducts management training.
